Fell asleep at dawn today,
just as a pale midnight blue had kissed the treetops.
Gave a yawn while I was wide awake,
and listened to the muted twilight
Paced around while standing in one place,
as the alarm lulled me to sleep.
An automatic smile as the dew drops hit the glass,
and I'm still drifting away
